Ben Cheney at the Ballpark n 1995 Paul R. Michaels was commissioned to create a sculpture of Ben B. Cheney, noted businessman, philanthropist and sports enthusiast. The statue was installed in Cheney Stadium, Tacoma, Washington at the beginning of the 1996 baseball season. Mr. Cheney is seated in a bronze replica stadium seat in the stands. Fans can enjoy the game while sitting next to him. |
